Finding your inner compass towards your own goals

Are you living within your inner compass? Are you following the map of your life? when you reflect on you were living authentically and you feel internally fulfilled?

We all have that feeling about where we want to be and what we want to be doing. It may be a very hidden feeling or one you feel heavily internally. This, my friend, is your inner compass.

You may have reached a dead end maybe you followed the map your friends and family gave you, not the map you designed to get you to that perfect location of your bliss.

Have you lost your way maybe feeling so hidden behind all the overgrown trees you can't see any way out?

Finding your compass and using it authentically will help guide you to a life that feels more like yours. It's filled with your likes in life those things that make you tick. It's full of ambition and purpose and confidence knowing this is what you want, this is who you are and this is where you are heading.

1. Setting Goals (Finding you're what)

We lose sight at some point of who we are and the why for all we do. It can be several factors that cause us to become this way. A lack of goals and direction can cause your inner compass to be compromised

only 20% of people set goals for themselves, which means that 80% of people don't set goals.

Without goals, there is no motivation. You drift, and drifting never leads to happiness or fulfilment but moving towards an exciting goal can electrify your life. That's why you must get your goal right now and get moving toward what you want next!

Follow the SMART goal-setting strategy

Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely short-term goals that you know you can achieve.

  • Write your goals and action steps down on paper. Put it in a place where you can see it every single day.

  • When you break your goals down into action steps and find that you cannot accomplish them within the specified periods, rework them until you find the right mix of actions. Making the goals and actions too difficult will set you up for frustration when you cannot accomplish them promptly.

2. Finding your how?

Ask yourself how you are going to do this.

What obstacles may get in your way?

How will you stay true to your north?

3. Finding your WHY?

This step is the most important step towards your success.

Finding you WHY will help you face any obstacle and run towards any opportunity. Finding your WHY is finding your Purpose.

Finding your why is not as simple as breaking down your goal or answering the how questions it is a bit deeper. You need to really think internally about this one.

Are you ready to get into the nitty gritty with me? Let's unpack together.

Finding your true north

1. Are your goals are they align with your core values?

2. Do you find more reason to reanswer your how?

3. Write down Your goals and under each one finish this sentence Because what feeds me is....

This will bring you always back to your true north the place that gives you a life of self-love, passion, drive and most importantly letting your inner beauty shine.

Revisit your inner compass especially your values whenever you face some hard choices or when your feel lost within yourself or what to do next.

Let this be your time to make your inner compass the direction you would like to go towards.

Let your inner beauty shine
